Interblock Ljubljana is a Slovenian football club founded in 2006 , which played in the Slovenska Nogometna Liga until 2010 and currently plays in the 2nd Slovenian league.

history

In the 2005/06 season, Interblock, which was then still called the NK Factor, made it to the top division of Slovenian football. In 2006 the name was changed to Interblock when businessman Jože Pečečnik bought the club. This makes Interblock Ljubljana the richest club in Slovenia.

In the first season in the first division, the club was able to reach fifth place and won the Slovenian Cup.

In the 2008/09 UEFA Cup , Interblock defeated Zeta Golubovci in the first qualifying round , but lost to Hertha BSC in the second qualifying round .
