Ute Noack , married . Lindner (born December 27, 1961 in Annaberg-Buchholz ) is a former GDR athlete in cross-country skiing . She won the bronze medal with the 4 × 5 km relay during the Nordic World Ski Championships 1985 in Seefeld . At the 1984 Winter Olympics , she finished eighth in the women's 5 km cross-country skiing.

During her competitive sports career , she was given the doping agent Oral-Turinabol . When she refused to take the pills because of an intolerance, the anabolic steroids were secretly given to her in vitamin drinks. She has a severely disabled son who suffers from congenital muscular atrophy .
