Fjölnir Reykjavík ( Icelandic Ungmennafélagið Fjölnir ) is an Icelandic sports club from Reykjavík .

history

In football, the club, founded in 1988, rose to the Pepsideild in 2008 . Until the 2009 season he was able to hold the class before he was relegated to the second class 1. deild karla . In 2014 he returned to the 1st division. The venue is the Fjölnisvöllur stadium , which has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.

Other sports practiced in the club include basketball, swimming, gymnastics, handball, chess, athletics, karate, tennis and taekwondo. Fjölnir also plays in the highest Icelandic league in chess.
