Ethnikos Achnas ( Greek Εθνικός Άχνας ) is a football club from the Cypriot town of Dasaki Achnas . It was founded in Achna in 1968 . The club's colors are black and blue. The club currently plays in the First Division , led by President Kikis Philippou . Ethnikos Achnas plays in Dasaki Stadium , which has a capacity of 4,000 spectators.

The club used to be based in Achna / Düzce , but had to move to Dasaki Achnas after the Turkish invasion .

Sporting successes
Ethnikos Achnas always played in the lower soccer leagues of Cyprus after the club was founded. It was not until 1983 that he was promoted to the First Division for the first time . After a year that was not very successful in terms of sport, the club was immediately relegated. In 1986, the club managed to get promoted again and stayed in the first division for four seasons. After two years in the second division, Ethnikos Achnas rose again to the first division in 1992 and has consistently been one of the top clubs in the country ever since.
The club achieved the best placings with fourth places in the 1994/95 and 1997/98 seasons. In 2002 Ethnikos Achnas reached the final of the Cypriot Football Cup for the first time in the club's history , but lost 1-0 to Anorthosis Famagusta's team .
In the European club competitions, Ethnikos Achnas has competed four times (1998, 2003, 2004, 2006) in the UI Cup . In 2006 Ethnikos Achnas was able to qualify for the UEFA Cup for the first time . There they were eliminated in the first round against RC Lens .
