Lars Schlichting (born September 14, 1982 in Lübeck ) is a personal trainer in Frankfurt am Main and a former German soccer player who also has Greek citizenship.

Career

Lars Schlichting began his career in the youth of VfB Lübeck and changed from there to that of Hamburger SV . After the A youth, he joined the first team of SV Eichholz .

At the beginning of 2003 he was hired by the Greek club AO Timbaki , from which he was transferred to Diethnis Enosis Ergotelis six months later .

Two years later, at the beginning of the 2005/2006 season, he moved to the Cypriot first division at Ethnikos Achnas for € 30,000 , where he has been playing since then and has established himself as a regular in defensive midfield.

With Ethnikos Achnas he qualified in 2006 via the UEFA Intertoto Cup to the UEFA Cup . His contract with Achnas ran until June 30, 2012.

After his career as a soccer player, Lars Schlichting settled in Frankfurt am Main, where he works successfully as a personal trainer.
