The Trast Athletic Club was a Cypriot football club from Nicosia that was dissolved in 1938.
history
The Trast AC was a founding member of the Cyprus Football Association founded in 1934 . In the first aligned season 1934/35 of the First Division , the club was able to celebrate the championship. In addition, the first organized Cypriot football cup was won against APOEL Nicosia after the first and second leg (0-0, 1-0). Thus the Trast AC also became the country's first double winner.
Also in the following year 1935/36 the club won the cup again, with a 4-1 win against SK Lefkoşa Türk . In the league, however, it was only enough for second place behind APOEL Nicosia. In the 1936/37 season, APOEL Nicosia had to admit defeat twice, as only second place was achieved in the league and the cup final was lost 1: 2.
Even in the 1937/38 season, the Trast AC could not prevail in the league against APOEL Nicosia and took second place for the third time in a row. But with a 2-1 victory in the cup final against AEL Limassol , the club was able to take third Secure the cup.
Due to financial problems, the Trast AC had to dissolve its club 14 years after it was founded and 4 years in the First Division.
