The Prva Makedonska Fudbalska Liga (Macedon.-Kyrill. Прва македонска фудбалска лига, German First Macedonian Football League ) is the highest North Macedonian football league .

mode

Ten teams play against each other in four rounds to determine the champion. The eighth goes into relegation, the last two are relegated directly. The league was founded after the dissolution of Yugoslavia in 1992. Vardar Skopje was the champion of the 18 participants in the premiere season 1992/93 . Before that, the North Macedonian clubs played in the soccer leagues of Yugoslavia.
