The Prva Makedonska Liga 2009/10 was the 18th season of the highest football league in North Macedonia . The season began on August 1, 2009 and ended on May 19, 2010. The defending champion was Makedonija Skopje . FK Renova Džepčište became champions for the first time .

mode

Twelve teams competed against each other in three rounds. The last three descended directly. The team on the relegation place lost the game against the fourth in the second division and had to be relegated.

Makedonija Skopje and Sloga Jugomagnat appeared in protest against the association twice in a row not to play in the Prva Liga, so that both clubs were excluded from the game and Makedonija had to relegate as reigning champions. All games of Makedonija and Sloga from the twelfth matchday onwards were canceled, the points scored up to then were deducted and the teams were placed on the bottom of the table. FK Pobeda Prilep was removed from the rating by the association after the 28th matchday. All games were canceled.
