The Prva Makedonska Liga 1997/98 was the sixth season of the highest football league in North Macedonia . Sileks Kratovo won the championship title for the third time in a row.

Bregalnica Štip withdrew after eighteen games. Their games from the 14th to the 18th matchday were canceled, so that only the results of the first half of the season were included in the rating.
