history

It was named after the much older neighboring district of Büchling. The place was first mentioned in 1970 in the data of the census and designated as a settlement of the community of Großenpinning in the Landau an der Isar district with 16 inhabitants. On May 1, 1978, the place came in the course of the regional reform in Bavaria when the municipality of Großenpinning was dissolved to the municipality of Oberschneiding in the district of Straubing-Bogen . In the census on May 25, 1987, five residential buildings with eight apartments and 20 residents were recorded and the place is now called a hamlet . In 2017 there were seven residential buildings.
