The hamlet of Peinkofen is part of the Oberschneiding community in the Straubing-Bogen district in Lower Bavaria .

Geography and transport links

Peinkofen is east of the core town of Oberschneiding on the SR 27 district road . The B 20 runs west and the B 8 north. The A 92 runs south.

The Edlgraben flows through the village .

Peinkofen belonged to the Grafling municipality until April 30, 1978 , which was dissolved in the course of the regional reform in Bavaria .
