The village of Büchling is part of the Oberschneiding community in the Straubing-Bogen district in Lower Bavaria .

Geography and transport links

Büchling is located southeast of the core town of Oberschneiding on the SR 27 . The B 20 runs west.

The Steinfürther Mühlbach flows on the southern edge of the village .

history

Büchling belonged to the community of Großenpinning in the Landau an der Isar district , which was incorporated into Oberschneiding in the Straubing-Bogen district on May 1, 1978 .

The Kleinbahngenossenschaft Wallersdorf und Umgebung eGmbH , which operated a narrow-gauge railway with a gauge of 1,000 mm from 1926 to the end of 1949 , was based in Büchling. This narrow gauge railway from the station of the market Wallersdorf ( Dingolfing-Landau ) to Münchshöfen in the municipality Oberschneiding. This railway was used exclusively for freight traffic .
