Swiss Football Championship 2008/09

The Axpo Super League 2009/10 was the 113th season of the top Swiss division in men's football. It took place from July 11, 2009 to May 16, 2010. The champions were FC Basel , who won the decisive season game against BSC Young Boys 2-0. Basel won the 13th league title in the club's history.

Ten teams took part in the Axpo Super League, with each team playing 36 games. This season was one of the few football championships in Europe in which all participating teams had already won a championship in the past. The Grasshopper Club Zurich and FC Luzern qualified for the Europa League . After 29 years of uninterrupted membership in the highest league, FC Aarau was relegated to the Challenge League . The AC Bellinzona played penultimate the barrage against FC Lugano , the runner-up in the Challenge League, the second highest division, whereby Bellinzona was able to prevail and thus managed to stay in the league.
