The Raiffeisen Super League 2014/15 was the 118th season of the top Swiss division in men's football. It started on July 19, 2014 and ended on May 29, 2015. Ten teams took part. The ten clubs each competed four times against each opponent, twice at home and twice away. In total, each team played 36 games.
At the beginning of the second half of the season, the free kick spray was introduced in the Super League and Challenge League .

Venues |
In the first half of the season, FC Zurich was the main challenger to the series champions FC Basel , while in the second half of the season only BSC Young Boys and FC Basel remained in the championship race. Nevertheless, FC Basel secured the Swiss championship title for the sixth time in a row in the 33rd round and ended the season twelve points ahead of the BSC Young Boys. They were followed by FC Zurich, who only finished seventh in the second round table, and FC Thun , whose performance was considered remarkable in view of the financial possibilities. The FC Aarau was relegated as the last place in the Challenge League.
FC Basel and runner-up BSC Young Boys take part in qualifying for the 2015/16 UEFA Champions League , where they start in the third round. FC Basel will take the “champions path”, while the BSC Young Boys will have to take the “placement path”.
Via the league, FC Zurich (third round) and FC Thun (second round) have secured a place in the qualifying for the 2015/16 UEFA Europa League . As the 2014/15 Swiss Cup winners , FC Sion is directly qualified for the group stage. The FC Vaduz takes as Liechtenstein Cup winners 2014/15 also at the European League qualifying part (first round).
