Berat Sadik (born September 14, 1986 in Skopje , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Finnish football player . Sadik is a Finnish citizen of North Macedonian - Albanian origin; In addition to the Finnish one, he also has the North Macedonian passport. He plays in the position of the striker .

Club career

In his youth, Sadik played with Kiuruveden Palloilijat in Kiuruvesi , where he lived with his family from the age of four after emigrating from Macedonia. After he went through the youth department of Kuopion PS from 2004 and made his debut in the Finnish Veikkausliiga on April 25, 2005, he moved to FC Lahti in February 2007 , where the interest of international clubs soon aroused.

From July 1, 2008 he signed a three-year contract with Arminia Bielefeld, which was valid for both the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga. Sadik made his Bundesliga debut on the second day of the 2008/09 season in the away game against Hertha BSC

However, Sadik could not secure a regular place in the storm of Arminia Bielefeld in the further course, which is why he was awarded to the Belgian first division club SV Zulte Waregem at the end of August 2009 . In the summer of 2010, the striker signed a contract with FC Lahti, where he was already under contract for two seasons between 2007 and 2008. With Lahti, Sadik rose at the end of the 2010 season as bottom of the table in the second-class Ykkönen . As a result, the attacker signed a two-year contract with the multiple Finnish champions HJK Helsinki in January 2011 . On January 24, 2013, FC Thun, a football club from the Swiss Raiffeisen Super League, announced that Berat Sadik had been committed to the second half of the 2012/2013 season.
