Pape Moussa Konaté (born April 3, 1993 in Mbour ) is a Senegalese football player . The center forward , who can also act as a winger , has been under contract with the French first division club SC Amiens since the 2017/18 season and plays for the Senegalese national team .

Career

As a youth player, Konaté began his career in 2005 with the local club ASC Touré Kounda Mbour . His international career first took him to Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2011 and via FK Krasnodar and CFC Genua to Switzerland to FC Sion , where he played for four years from 2014. On August 13, 2017, he moved to SC Amiens . His contract runs until 2021.

National team

Konaté made his national team debut on February 29, 2012 and has since been used in 29 games, scoring 10 goals. He took part in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London for Senegal and scored five goals, placing him in second place on the top scorer list. At the 2018 World Cup in Russia , Konaté was used in the games against Poland and Colombia.
