Robin Marc Huser (born January 24, 1998 in Recherswil ) is a Swiss football player who has been under contract with FC Chiasso since 2019 . He was also part of the Swiss U-20 national team .

Career

Robin Huser spent his junior years at FC Subingen and then at FC Solothurn . In January 2012, when he was just 14 years old, he was asked to do a trial training session with the series champions FC Basel and then accepted into their A-Junior team.

Also at the intercession of the then coach Paulo Sousa, Huser moved up to the first team of FC Basel on January 1, 2015. He received the shirt number 28 and was used as a defensive midfielder . He made his league debut at the age of 17 on May 20, 2015, when he lost 2-1 to FC Aarau at the Brügglifeld stadium .

Under coach Urs Fischer , Huser won the championship title for the second time with FCB at the end of the 2015/16 season . For the club it was the seventh title in a row and the 19th title in the club's history.

National team

Huser completed various international junior matches for Switzerland, U-15, U-16, U-17 and six in the U-18. He played his first international match for the U-19 national team as a substitute on March 15, 2016 in a 2–0 away win against Liechtenstein U-19 .
