Henriette Gudin

Henriette Herminie Louise Gudin , married Henriette Fauchier , (* 1825 , † 1876 ) was a French marine painter.

She was born the daughter of the painter Théodore Gudin (1802–1880). Following his example, she engaged in marine painting . She married François Fauchier in 1850, but continued to sign her pictures with her maiden name. It was only around 1864 that she began to sign her works with "Mme Fauchier".

She participated in the Paris salons in 1849, 1850 and 1853. Her works are exhibited in the Musée Calvet in Avignon .
