Jan Lecjaks [ ˈjan ˈlɛtsjaks ] (born August 9, 1990 in Plzeň , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech football player .

Club career

Lecjaks started playing football at Sokol Štěnovice . In 2000 the defender moved to Viktoria Plzen . He made the leap into the professional squad for the 2007/08 season. He made his debut on November 11, 2007 in the game against FK Mladá Boleslav in the Gambrinus League . For the 2010/11 season, Lecjaks was awarded to the Belgian club RSC Anderlecht . Despite numerous missions, an agreed purchase option was not used. Lecjaks moved to Switzerland for the 2011/12 season to the BSC Young Boys , with whom he signed a four-year contract.

National team

Lecjaks played for all Czech junior teams from the U-17 to the U-21. In 2009 Lecjaks took part with the Czech U-20 team at the 2009 Junior World Cup , and his team was eliminated in the round of 16 against Hungary on penalties. He has been part of the Czech U-21 national team since 2009 . In 2011 he reached fourth place with the U-21 at the European Championships in Denmark . Lecjaks was used in four out of five games.
