The NK Lokomotiva Zagreb is a Croatian football club from the city of Zagreb .
history
NK Lokomotiva Zagreb is the successor to the railway sports club Željezničarski športski klub Victoria, founded on May 1, 1914 . The club has had its current name since 1948. The club's greatest success came in 1952 with third place in the first Yugoslav league. In the 2009/10 season, the club returned to the top division of a country for the first time in over 50 years, the 1st HNL , to which they have belonged ever since. After promotion, the club also qualified three times for participation in the UEFA Europa League .
