Gal Alberman ( Hebrew גל אלברמן; * April 17, 1983 in Petach Tikwa ) is an Israeli soccer player .

Career

society

Gal Alberman began his career at Maccabi Petach Tikwa and won the Israeli Toto Cup there in 2004. After a year-long engagement in Spain, he returned to Israel in 2006. With Beitar Jerusalem he was Israeli champion and cup winner in 2008. He himself was named Israeli Footballer of the Year in 2008 .

Since the 2008/09 season Alberman played for the Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach . At Borussia he was rarely used because he had to fight many injuries. The coach and sports director had announced in August 2010 that they would no longer plan with him.

On September 7, 2010, Alberman moved back to Israel. Despite a valid contract with Mönchengladbach, he was no longer considered. His new club is Maccabi Tel Aviv .

National team

Alberman made his debut for the Israeli national team in 2003 and has made 27 international appearances so far.
