Venues of the already qualified teams

In the Super League, the ten clubs compete against each opponent twice at home and twice away. In total, each team plays 36 games. The first-placed will have the title of Swiss Champion 2021 and will have the chance to qualify for the group stage of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League over three to four qualifying rounds .

The teams in positions two and three of the championship are allowed to qualify for the group stage of the 2021/22 UEFA Europa Conference League (according to the ranking in the five-year ranking on August 10, 2020). The fourth-placed team will also get a starting place if the cup winner is among the teams that have already qualified.

The team in 9th place plays against the runner-up in the Challenge League in the barrage to stay in the Super League. The last placed will be relegated directly to the Challenge League.

A change of mode discussed during the previous season to a twelve-league with final round and play-offs for the Europa League places, which would have led to a transition season, ultimately failed due to resistance from 10 SFL clubs .
