The Corgoň liga 2009/10 was the 17th season of the top Slovak division in men's football. The season began on July 10, 2009 and ended on May 15, 2010. The opening game was played by last year's champions ( ŠK Slovan Bratislava ) and the promoted team ( FK Senica ). MŠK Žilina became champion for the fifth time . The club secured the championship on the penultimate matchday with a 4-0 win against DAC Dunajská Streda .

The twelve teams played against each other three times. Each team played 33 games. FK Senica received the first division license through the merger with the sporting climber Inter Bratislava . The relegated of the season was the MFK Petržalka .
