Ivan Lietava (born July 20, 1983 in Bratislava ) is a Slovak football player .

youth

Lietava played for ŠK Šenkvice and ŠK Cífer in his youth.

Club career

Lietava got his first professional contract with FC Spartak Trnava , where he played in the 2003/04 season. After two very good seasons at FK AS Trenčín , things didn't go that well at FK Dukla Banská Bystrica . Lietava came to MŠK Žilina in 2007 , he was awarded to Denizlispor in the 2008/09 season and in summer 2010 he got a four-year contract with Konyaspor . In December 2010 he returned from Turkey after six months and signed a two-year contract with MŠK Žilina. In Žilina he plays with number 39, like Nicolas Anelka for Chelsea . Anelka is also his nickname.

National team

Lietava has made six appearances for the Slovak U-21 national team in UEFA competitions, scoring four goals. He was also part of the Slovak national team , but has not yet played an international match.
