HET League 2017/18

The Fortuna League 2018/19 (for the first time after the sponsor, the sports betting provider Fortuna ) was the 26th season of the top Czech division in men's football . It started on July 20, 2018 and ended on June 2, 2019.

The defending champion was Viktoria Plzen , the reigning cup winner Slavia Prague - Slavia became champions and defended the cup.

mode

The 16 teams initially played against each other twice in 30 rounds. For the first time, after the regular season, all teams were split up based on the final table, points and goals were taken from the main round. The best six teams played for the championship, places 7 to 10 in the Europa League play-offs and ranks 11 to 16 in the relegation play-outs.

After completing the final round, the last placed was relegated directly, the teams in places 14 and 15 played in a relegation against the second and third of the FNL . The champions and runners-up qualified for the qualifying round for the UEFA Champions League, the third for the qualifying round for the UEFA Europa League, as did the winner from the play-off final (fourth against the best team in the semi-finals).
