The Slovenska Nogometna Liga 2018/19 , also called PrvaLiga Telekom after the sponsor Telekom , was the 28th season of the highest Slovenian league in men's football . It started on July 20, 2018 a home game of the NK Aluminij against NK Celje and ended May 25, 2019. From December 9, 2018 until February 23, 2019 it had been interrupted by the winter break.
NK Olimpija Ljubljana started as defending champion after his sixth Slovenian championship title. After the home defeat of Olimpija Ljubljana 1: 4 against NK Domžale three game days before the end of the season, the 15th championship title was perfect for NK Maribor.
