The Stožice Stadium is a football stadium in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana and, with a seating capacity of 16,038, the largest stadium in the country. This includes 558 business seats, 210 seats for journalists and 97 barrier-free seats in the stadium.

It is mainly used by the NK Olimpija Ljubljana football club , one of the top teams in Slovenian football. Games of the Slovenian national football team are also played here. The sports facility is approved for around 23,000 visitors at concerts. It was opened on August 11, 2010 with the international match between Slovenia and Australia ; that the hosts won 2-0. 16,135 spectators attended the game; this is a record visit to a home game by a Slovenian team since independence in 1991. The new stadium is one of two stadiums , alongside Ljudski vrt in Maribor, in which the Slovenes will play their qualifying matches for the 2012 European Football Championship .
