The Nemzeti Bajnokság 2018/19 , officially named after the sponsor OTP Bank OTP Bank Liga , was the 118th season of the highest Hungarian division in men's football . It began on July 21, 2018 with Puskás Akadémia FC's game against Debreceni Vasutas SC and ended on May 19, 2019. From December 17, 2018 to February 2, 2019, the season was interrupted by a winter break.
The defending champion was MOL Vidi FC . Ferencváros Budapest became champion for the 30th time .
