The Pancho Arena is the home of the Hungarian football club Puskás Akadémia FC . The 4,000-seat football stadium is located in the town of Felcsút , near the weekend home of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán . He is the founder of the national football academy, which includes the Pancho Arena. Ferenc Puskás ( Pancho in Spanish ) is named after him to this day as the most successful Hungarian football player. The first design of the stadium was made by the famous Hungarian architect Imre Makovecz . After his death, the work was continued by his student Tamás Dobrosi. A special architectural feature of the venue is the wooden roof structure.

The Pancho Arena was inaugurated on April 21, 2014 during the final of the U17 football tournament Puskás Suzuki Cup between Puskás Akadémia FC and Real Madrid . Two days later, the U19 national soccer teams from Hungary and Turkey (5-2) competed against each other in the new arena.

The stadium was one of four venues for the 2014 U-19 European Football Championship .
