The Nemzeti Bajnokság 1907/08 was the seventh season in the history of the highest Hungarian football league . Before the start of the season, the number of teams was increased to nine after Budapesti TC had participated again. MTK Budapest became champion for the second time .

Only teams from Budapest could take part in the championship.

The season was played back and forth. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no point for a loss. The last two players played a relegation game against the first two in the second division. In the event of a tie, the first division team remained in the league.

    Vidéki Bajnokság

    For the first time, a championship was held for clubs outside of Budapest. The winners of the four regional groups were Eperjesi TVE (group north), Győri ETO (group west), Kaposvári AVC (group south) and Kolozsvári KASK (group east). A final round of the group winners did not take place.
