The Nemzeti Bajnokság 1995/96 was the 95th season in the history of the highest Hungarian football league . It began on August 4, 1995 and ended on June 30, 1996. From the end of November 1995 to mid-March 1996, the game was closed (winter break). Ferencváros Budapest became champion for the 26th time .
