The Nemzeti Bajnokság 2003/04 was the 103rd season in the history of the highest Hungarian football league . It began on July 25, 2003 and ended on May 27, 2004. From the beginning of December 2003 to the beginning of March 2004 the game was closed (winter break). Ferencváros Budapest became champion for the 28th time .
The season was initially played with home and away games. There were three points for a win, one for a draw and no point for a loss. The first six teams qualified for the championship round, the remaining six for the relegation round. The results have been adopted. The teams in each group then played against each other one more time with home and away games. The last two placed in the relegation round had to play relegation games to stay in class.
