The Gambrinus League 2003/04 was the eleventh season of the top Czech league in football . It was held from July 26, 2003 to May 15, 2004 with a winter break from December 2, 2003 to February 13, 2004.

16 teams played against each other twice on a total of 30 match days, divided into a first half and a second half.

Baník Ostrava won the first Czech championship title by five points

Together with Sparta Prague , they qualified for the Champions League . Cup winners SK Sigma Olmütz and Slavia Prague played in the UEFA Cup . Slovan Liberec , FC Tescoma Zlín and FK Teplice started in the UI Cup .

Viktoria Pilsen and FK Viktoria Žižkov relegated to the Druhá fotbalová liga .
