Miroslav Matušovič (born November 2, 1980 in Ostrava ) is a Czech football player .

Matušovič began playing football in Havířov , from where Baník Ostrava picked him up in 1996 . There he made his debut in 2001 for the first division team. In the following 2001/02 season, the only 1.72 m tall striker, who can also be used in attacking midfield, was part of the team. Outstanding was the 2003/04 season, in which he scored ten goals in 28 games. He was then invited by the coach of the Czech national team, Karel Brückner, to the training camp for the 2004 European Championship in Seefeld . However, Matušovič did not belong to the 23-man EM squad. In early 2005 he moved to Sparta Prague for around 20 million Czech crowns .

For the 2009/10 season, Matušovič moved to the Cypriot club Apollon Limassol .
