Lukáš Magera (born January 17, 1983 in Opava , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech football player . The striker has been under contract with FK Mladá Boleslav in the Synot League since summer 2012 .
Career
Lukáš Magera's career began when he joined the first team of his club Baník Ostrava in 2003 , which was then represented in the Gambrinus Liga , the top Czech division. On November 8, 2003 he came to his first assignment. In order to collect match practice, he was loaned to SK Kladno in the Druhá fotbalová liga (2nd division) at the beginning of the 2004/05 season. He returned to Baník during the winter break.
After his return Magera was able to prevail in Ostrava and established himself as a regular player. In 2005 he was able to win the cup with the club and thereby qualify for the UEFA Cup , where, despite a goal from him against SC Heerenveen , the first round was the last stop.
In the summer of 2008 Magera left his home club and moved to the Romanian League 1 for FC Timișoara . With his new club he was able to win the runner- up in the 2008/09 season and move into the cup final , but was subject to the CFR Cluj there . In the following Champions League season he was eliminated in qualifying against VfB Stuttgart . The 2010/11 season he and his team finished second again - this time behind Oțelul Galați . However, his club was not approved for the 2011/12 season and had to relegate to Liga II .
In the summer of 2011, Magera joined Swindon Town in the English Football League Two . In early 2012 he was loaned to his hometown club Banik Ostrava for six months, with whom he secured relegation. In the summer of 2012 he signed the Czech first division club FK Mladá Boleslav . With his new club, he ended the 2012/13 season with midfield. After missing the first half of the 2013/14 season due to an injury, he returned to the team in February 2014 and fought for a regular place again. At the end of the season he and his team qualified for the Europa League . He was able to repeat this success with his club in the following seasons. After he often played as a substitute in the 2014/15 season , he took back his regular place at the beginning of the 2015/16 season . He was able to score 14 goals during the season.

Magera has played four games for the Czech national football team so far , but has not yet scored a goal. He made his debut on June 5, 2009 in a friendly against Malta . His last game so far was the European Championship qualifier on October 8, 2010 against Scotland .
