Gambrinus League 2003/04

The Gambrinus League 2004/05 was the twelfth season of the top Czech league in football . It was held from August 7, 2004 to May 28, 2005 with a winter break from December 7, 2004 to February 25, 2005.

16 teams played against each other twice on a total of 30 match days, divided into a first half and a second half.

Sparta Prague has been leading the table since the fourth match day and continuously expanded their lead. The ninth championship was perfect just five match days before the end of the season. Sparta took part in the group stage of the Champions League . Local rivals Sparta Prague, 16 points behind second, had to qualify .

Cup winners Baník Ostrava and FK Teplice played in the UEFA Cup . Slovan Liberec and SK Sigma Olmütz started in the UI Cup .

Dynamo Budweis , SFC Opava and 1. FK Drnovice were relegated to the Druhá fotbalová liga .
