Michal Meduna (born August 31, 1981 in Pardubice ) is a Czech football player .

Career

Michal Meduna played for FK Pardubice in his youth . For the 1999/00 season the striker signed a professional contract with the second division club Atlantic Lázně Bohdaneč , for which he played 25 games. In 2000, Atlantic Lázně Bohdaneč and FK Pardubice merged to form FK AS Pardubice , for which Meduna played 22 times and scored four goals.

2001 Meduna moved to the Gambrinus League for 1. FC Synot , where he immediately belonged to the regular formation. In three years and 83 games, Meduna scored 13 goals. In 2004, the 1.91 m tall and headed striker was loaned to Sparta Prague and scored three goals in 24 games for Prague. In the summer of 2005 Meduna moved to the Turkish first division club Vestel Manisaspor , with whom he signed a three-year contract. In the 2005/06 season he scored eight goals in 22 games.

In a league game on August 19, 2006 against Galatasaray Istanbul , Meduna collapsed and was in mortal danger. A subsequent examination revealed a cardiac arrhythmia that made it impossible for Meduna to continue his professional career.

From summer 2007 Meduna played for ASKÖ Pregarten in the Upper Austrian District League North (sixth division). In 2013 he moved to the Waldviertel to SV Eibenstein.
