Tomáš Sivok (born September 15, 1983 in Pelhřimov ) is a Czech football player .

Career

society

Sivok started at Slovan Kamenice nad Lipou, at the age of eleven he moved to SK České Budějovice . In 2002 the midfielder was signed by Sparta Prague . After a season, Sivok was loaned to his former club for half a year. After his return to Sparta in early 2004, Sivok developed into one of the best midfielders in the Gambrinus League , and in 2005 he became team captain. In September 2005, he sustained a knee injury, after which he was sidelined for four months.

In early 2007, Sivok moved to the Italian Serie A league club Udinese Calcio , with whom he signed a contract until 2011. While he was used regularly in the second half of the 2006/07 season, he rarely played in the fall of 2007. In late December 2007 he was loaned to his former club Sparta Prague until the end of the season. He moved to the Turkish top club Beşiktaş Istanbul in the summer of 2008 .

After Sivok had not been offered a contract extension by Beşiktaş in the summer of 2015, he moved to league rivals Bursaspor on a free transfer .

National team

At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was included in the Czech squad . He was a regular player and played in all three games for the full season until the team was eliminated.
