Miroslav Baranek (born November 10, 1973 ) in Havířov is a former Czech football player .
Career
society
The midfielder began playing football with TJ Horní Suchá and Baník Havířov. After a few years in the Gambrinus League , most recently with Sigma Olomouc , he was signed by Sparta Prague in 1997 .
In 2000 Baranek moved to 1. FC Köln, who had just been promoted again . Under the coach Ewald Lienen - and after his dismissal Christoph John , he made 37 games, but did not succeed in making his way into the starting eleven. His project to recommend himself for the big European clubs had failed. In 2002 he returned to his homeland to Sparta Prague, with whom he was Czech champion four times.
In spring 2005 Baranek moved to FK Mladá Boleslav . From 2005 to 2008 he was active for FK Jablonec . In July 2008, the midfielder moved to the Austrian second division club FC Admira Wacker Mödling .
After a year in the southern part of the city, Baranek switched to ASK Kottingbrunn in Lower Austria. In summer 2011 he left Kottingbrunn and switched to SC Laa / Thaya. However, she only played there for three months and joined the SK Prostějov in October 2011. After he was sorted out again in January 2012, he moved to the Pražský přebor, the fifth Czech league for SK Třeboradice.
National team
Between 1995 and 2002 he played in 17 games for the Czech national soccer team and scored five goals.
