Aleš Urbánek (born May 25, 1980 in Slavičín ) is a Czech football player .

Career

Urbánek played in his youth for the clubs FC TVD Slavičín , FC MEZ Brumov , SK Šanov and FC Zlín . His first professional station was from 1997 to 1998 the second division SK LeRK Prostějov . In early 1999 he was signed by Sigma Olomouc . During this time, the talented midfielder was used in the Czech U-18, U-20 and U-21 teams. However, he was considered a problematic player and was suspended several times.

After five years in Olomouc Urbánek went to Spartak Moscow , for which he only played seven games and was loaned to Sparta Prague for the 2004/05 season . Also in the 2005/06 season Spartak Moscow loaned him to the Slovak club FC Artmedia Bratislava . In September 2006 Urbánek changed again the club and joined Slavia Prague for a year on loan . There he played only irregularly and could not assert himself. For the 2007/08 season he returned to Bratislava . For the 2009/10 season Urbánek moved to the Czech first division promoted 1. FC Slovácko . After one season he left 1. FC Slovácko and went to FK Senica . After he had only made five appearances in Senica in the first half of the 2011/12 season, he moved to DAC Dunajská Streda in winter 2011 . After completing eleven appearances in the Corgon League for DAC in the second half of the season, he moved to Slovak second division club TJ Baník Ružiná on loan in the summer of 2012 .
