Lukáš Zelenka (born October 5, 1979 in Prague ) is a former Czech football player .

Career

Zelenka started his career at Sparta Prague . In 1997 the RSC Anderlecht signed the young talent. There Zelenka did not make it into the first team and was only used in the reserve. In 1999 he was loaned to the KVC Westerlo , where he was able to assert himself.

In 2001 Sparta bought him back for 26 million crowns , which made him the second most expensive Czech player of all time at the time. At first he could not meet the high expectations, but from 2003 he developed into one of the most important players in Sparta. On June 8, 2005 in the 6-1 win against Macedonia , Zelenka made her debut in the Czech national team . At the beginning of 2006, he moved to the Turkish club Vestel Manisaspor for 2.5 million euros . After two years he returned to his former club KVC Westerlo.

In September 2009, Zelenka broke his contract in Westerlo prematurely and joined 1. FC Slovácko . In February 2011 he moved to the first Hungarian football league to the record champions Ferencváros Budapest . At the turn of 2012 he went back to his homeland and has since played in the third division for 1.SK Prostějov . In 2016 he ended his active career there
