The 1st league 2004/05 was the 71st season of the highest Polish men's soccer division since it was founded in 1927. The season began on July 30, 2004 and ended on June 19, 2005 and a total of fourteen clubs took part in the 2004/05 season.

The defending champion was Wisła Kraków , which won the title again this year. Newcomers from the second Polish division were Pogoń Stettin , KS Cracovia and Zagłębie Lubin .
