Ekstraklasa 2009/10

The 2010/11 Ekstraklasa was the 77th season of the highest Polish men's soccer division since it was founded in 1927. The season began on August 6, 2010 and ended on May 29, 2011. A total of sixteen clubs took part in the 2010 / 11 part. Wisła Krakow won the thirteenth Polish championship in the season. Arka Gdynia and Polonia Bytom had to relegate .

Season course

On the 17th matchday Wisła Krakow conquered the top of the league. Previously, GKS Bełchatów , Polonia Warsaw and Jagiellonia Białystok held the management position one after the other . After the 11th matchday, the gap between Wisła Krakow and the top of the table was still ten points. After the 16th game day Krakow and Białystok were tied and on the 17th game day Krakow was able to push past Białystok. On the following game days Wisła Krakau was able to build up a large point cushion, so that the championship was no longer in serious danger. Wisła Krakow had already won the championship after the 27th matchday.
