The League of Ireland 2011 (officially: Airtricity League after the league sponsor Airtricity ) was the 91st season of the top Irish football league. The season began on March 4, 2011 and ended on October 28, 2011 with the 36th and final game day.

Champion became the defending champion and record champion Shamrock Rovers . Galway United had to play in the relegation games .

The ten teams each played against each other four times. Each team played 36 games this season. By increasing the league to 12 participants in the following season, there was no direct relegation, but only a relegation duel between the bottom of the table in the regular season and the third in the First Division .
