The 2010/11 season of the Eredivisie was the 55th season of the highest Dutch football league. It began on August 6, 2010 with the first matchday between Roda JC Kerkrade and FC Twente Enschede and ended on May 15, 2011 with the 34th matchday. The Dutch champions were for the 30th time AFC Ajax from Amsterdam , who only took the lead on the last match day after a 3-1 win in a direct duel against FC Twente Enschede. Most often at the top of the table was PSV Eindhoven , which led the table on 24 match days.

The Tilburg club Willem II rose after 24 seasons in the top division directly from the Eerste Divisie ; Excelsior Rotterdam and VVV-Venlo received the class in the relegation games .
