The 1967/68 season was the 12th season of the Eredivisie , the highest Dutch football league. Champion was Ajax Amsterdam for the 13th time . Only the XerxesDZB (forced relegation due to financial problems) had to relegate , as the two clubs Fortuna 54 Geleen and Sittardia merged due to financial difficulties and thus in the end was one team less this season. For this reason, no team was relegated for sporting reasons this season.
