The 1965/66 season was the 10th season of the Eredivisie , the highest Dutch football league. Ajax Amsterdam won the championship for the 11th time . Only one team ( Heracles Almelo ) had to relegate this season , as 18 clubs will play in the Eredivisie from next season.
