Wilhelmus "Willy" Martinus Leonardus Johannes van der Kuijlen (born December 6, 1946 in Helmond , Province of North Brabant ) is a former Dutch football player . He is a multiple top scorer and is still a record player at PSV Eindhoven .
Career
PSV Eindhoven
Van der Kuijlen played a total of 18 seasons for PSV Eindhoven and was named top scorer in the seasons 1965/66 (23 goals, together with Piet Kruiver ), 1969/70 (26 goals) and 1973/74 (27 goals). In addition, he still holds the record for most goals and appearances. His nicknames at PSV were “Skiete Willy” , “Shoot Willy” and “Mister PSV” .
MVV Maastricht
In his last professional season, Van der Kuijlen moved to MVV Maastricht for another year , after which he ended his professional career. He is still the top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie .
