Cornelis "Kees" Kist (born August 7, 1952 in Steenwijk ) is a former Dutch football player .

Player career

Kist began his career at SC Heerenveen in 1970. After two years in Heerenveen , Kist went to AZ Alkmaar . There he won in the ten years he was under contract once the Dutch championship (1981) and three times the Dutch cup (1978, 1981, 1982). During this time he was also the top scorer in the Netherlands twice (1979, 1980) and won the golden shoe in Europe in 1979 . In 1982 he moved to Paris Saint-Germain in France . Here he became the French cup winner. 1983 moved to FC Mulhouse and in 1984 returned to AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands. In 1987 he ended his career after playing for SC Heerenveen for two more years.

International playing career

Internationally he played for the Netherlands in 21 internationals and scored 11 goals. He took part in the 1976 European Football Championship in Yugoslavia , where he was third with the team. At the 1980 European Football Championship in Italy , he was eliminated with the team in the group stage.
