Vincent Petrus Anna Sebastiaan Janssen (born June 15, 1994 in Heesch ) is a Dutch football player .
Career
society
In his youth Janssen played for SV Top, TOP Oss, the youth division of NEC Nijmegen / FC Oss and Feyenoord Rotterdam . Between 2011 and 2013 he played a total of four games for the second team of Feyenoord Rotterdam in the Beloften Eredivisie.
In summer 2013 Janssen moved to Almere City FC in the Eerste Divisie , the second division in the Netherlands. He also made two appearances in the second team of Almere City FC. In his first season 2013/14 he scored ten goals and prepared three goals. In the following season he was able to improve again. Janssen scored 19 goals himself and prepared a total of nine goals. At the end of the season he finished 5th on the scorer list of the Eerste Divisie.
On July 1, 2015, he moved to the Eredivisie at AZ Alkmaar . He made his debut in the Dutch football club on August 9, 2015, on the first day of the 2015/16 season. In the 0-3 home defeat against Ajax Amsterdam , he played over 90 minutes.
Janssen also celebrated his debut in international club football this season. He took part in the 2015/16 UEFA Europa League with AZ . After successfully qualifying, he failed with Alkmaar in the group stage. Jannsen played all six group games and scored two goals. He scored against FC Augsburg and Athletic Bilbao .
On April 16, 2016, the 31st matchday, Janssen was involved in all goals in the win against PEC Zwolle . In the 5-1 success he scored four hits himself and prepared one. At the end of the 2015/16 season he was top scorer with 27 goals in 34 games.
Janssen has been under contract with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League since July 12, 2016 . He moved from Alkmaar to Tottenham for 22.1 million euros. His current contract runs until June 30, 2020. For the 2017/18 season, Janssen was loaned to Fenerbahçe Istanbul until June 30, 2018 .
In July 2019 he moved to CF Monterrey in Mexico .
National team
Janssen played several games for the U-18 , U-20 and U-21 of the Netherlands between 2011 and 2015 . He made his debut for the national team on March 25, 2016 in a friendly against France . He came into the game in the 81st minute for Luuk de Jong . The game ended in a 2-3 loss to the French.
